The Lord is good to all: His tender mercies are over all His works. Psalm 145:9
Oh my...those are awful! What you said about infant lingerie is not too far off. I am always appalled to see what is on the racks for little girls in Target or Walmart. :( It's sad really.I liked the comment you left on my blog. I am not "dresses only" either. I wear them A LOT but not exclusively. My hubby enjoys me wearing a cute pair of jeans and a feminine top at times so I do that for him, honestly, I like dresses. :) As far as nursing goes, just enjoy this time with everything in you. You know how it goes so quickly and then it's gone... I stuck with skirts and tops for that period of time and of course a pair of tasteful jeans and a cute top to match here and there to make my sweet hubby happy. I am lucky that he likes dresses also. :) Tell me, you have 5 little ones. How do you manage things? I am curious how a large family works as I hope to be blessed with one myself. And do you have a rough first trimester? I tend to and am dreading that a little although we are not expecting...yet. ;) Hope your day is great.
My children are 2, 7, 9, 12, & 14yrs.I have to admit it's alot easier now that some of them are older. But I don't really remember it being all that difficult when they were younger either. I think I just went with the flow. I didn't try to live up to anyone else's expectations. God must have given me the grace I needed at the time I needed it. For us.... having each child assigned daily chores is a must. They are my helpers. I could not do everything myself. Really there are lots of times that they have to be reminded to do their chores but there are also times that they do things that they aren't even expected to do and they do it without me asking......like mopping the floors. Our days are never perfect but I love having my 5 children and would like to have more. The only thing that's stopping me at this point is MORNING SICKNESS ugh! I had it pretty bad with my last child. I hardly got anything done....but my children were so sweet and helped out how they could.
OH MY GOODNESS!!! This is sooo not happening for Bethany, she can stick to little socks!I bet if you googled it baby lingerie would be found....
Oh yes, morning sickness... I am so not looking forward to that. Did you have it with all your kiddos? I didn't with my 3 year old son, but my 1 year old daughter - whoa! It was bad, bad. I really fear it and have been praying to God for help when that time comes again. I am going to start a journal to myself right now while I am feeling well and fine to remind myself of the tremendous long term blessing that comes from the temporary, short term discomforts of pregnancy. :)I suppose when the youngers get up a little and can help then adding to our little clan will not be so difficult. I like what you said about going with the flow and not trying to rise to the expectations of others. Leaning on God for His grace during the season of motherhood is a must!
oh my goodness..those are just ridiculous..I can't believe any sane person would actually use those.
