The Heart of the King is in God's Hand

I have had several days to let the election results sink in. I was initially disappointed with the outcome, but after really letting God's truths fill my mind, that disappointment has past. God is in control, who am I to question His authority! He knows what He's doing. So any concerns I might have should be lifted up to God in prayer.

"The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will" Proverbs 21: 1

I love this post. Being anxious for nothing but in prayer and supplication making our requests known before God our King! He does know what he is doing. Who are we to question His authority and will? He has a plan and a purpose. I think we should be faithful in prayer and wait to see what He does. I just sent you an email. I totally ranted. I am almost ashamed because I got myself so worked up. It was attatched to my latest post but I used wisdom and did not post the part I sent you. I had to share it with you though. :) Hope you are having a great day!

I feel the same way. If Obama got in, I knew it was because he was suppose to. God is in control. Not to say he is the best for our country, but he is who God wants in that position for this time.

Hi, good morning. I have had a little free time to myself this a.m. and have probably unwisely used it here (on the computer) but it's been kind of fun to browse a little. Wanted to ask you if you ever did "scheduling" with your kiddos when they were real small. I am STILL trying to figure out my groove with keeping a home and being mommy too. Involving them just doesn't seem to work for me although I wish it would. I mean, I do but not for the real nitty gritty get it done kind of house cleaning/picking up, cooking, etc... The site we both know about that borders on hyper scheduling has been helpful as a guideline but I don't want to be so rigid with it. Any suggestions in this dept.? Oh, you must read Lentils and Rice. You will smile.

Just wondered... did you have Seeking me book already or were you going to get it yet? I can wait for a while yet... and yes take it slow.

Nancy ~ I still need to get the book. I thought I might try and see if it's at my library.
